The Alta Langa presents a range of different textures from dark green wooded slopes and light green hayfields to the vineyards which change their appearance with every turn of the seasons.  Then there are the hazel groves with their intricate geometric shapes against the backdrop of the Alps.  Our dream is to add value to our heritage by adding the colour of flowering medicinal herbs in the untended areas.

Amongst these we have chosen, to begin with, lavender and helichrysum for their unmatched health benefits and for their captivating colours.  The choice of these plants was further recommended by the fact that, as bushy plants, they are robust and tolerant of our limited gardening experience.

Our project is, then, aimed at cultivating our family land and at the same time spreading this expanse of colour through much of The Alta Langa.  Having been inspired by those who have started before us, we plan to repopulate other areas and reach those in which medicinal herbs have been grown for years.

Everybody is welcome to take part in our project if they wish and to help us realise a dream which we believe is shared by many people.
